SLEEPING BEAUTY TURQUOISE
Sleeping Beauty Turquoise from the
Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona, with its Robins
Egg Blue color, is thought by many to be the BEST
Turquoise in the world. One of the few Turquoise materials that is very often
naturally hard, it is the gauge by which all other turquoise is measured.
The material for this cabochon is naturally hard
and has not been stabilized or color enhanced in any way.
This quality cabochon, with its "Robins Egg
Blue" color would sell for $10 per carat.

This Sleeping
Beauty cab has been cut in a designer rectangle shape and is suitable for
setting in either direction.
This fracture free
cabochon does have some typical Sleeping Beauty golden/brown matrix on one of
the long sides but, it would no doubt be covered with any bezel used to set it.
